Addison Ridge, a modern apartment complex in Fayetteville, NC, needed a partner to help them create a beautiful and functional fitness facility that resonated with the surrounding military demographic of Fort Bragg. Together, we created a space that acknowledged the facility’s proximity to Fort Bragg while supplying the best products on the market for current fitness trends.
Relationships That Run Deep
Morganton Development, the community’s developer, has enjoyed an excellent relationship with ASF. The relationship developed in 2013 when Addison Ridge partnered with Advantage to build their first on-property fitness facility. In phases one and two of construction, Addison Ridge was in the process of developing over 400 apartment units. By 2018, the property entered phase three to construct 210 additional units and the addition of a new fitness space. After meeting and discussing ideas with the team, they knew ASF would be a perfect fit for this project.
Creating Custom Renderings
We kicked off the facility design in 2018 with a 2D floor plan to show Morganton how we would approach outfitting the clubhouse. Our design process always includes creating custom floor plans that factor in the building’s unique design and any power or networking requirements of the equipment.
With the foundation of the design in place, we developed a 3D rendering to illustrate how the products would look in the space. This allowed us to visualize the custom branding and confirm that we were 100% aligned on the overall look & feel before any work began.
Functional Fitness Made Fashionable
With approved renderings, we were excited to get to work!
Our research showed that Fayetteville’s demographic skewed younger and heavily military, with a strong preference for functional fitness over traditional training. In response, we selected on-trend products in bold colors that included a functional training frame, weight training racks with built-in storage, cardio equipment, and functional fitness tools to provide a customized mix of experiences suitable for the location.
